i lay behind, your decaying rhododendron
reading the letters, you wrote, at your arrival
the shaking of your hand, just balancing
it's the post, addendum, a last conundrum

hanging from the guardrail like a disillusioned performer
but those eyes so heavy, it's lonely
chasing that shadow up the concrete, it feels so weak
no one ever show me to show confidently .
